Adult Batgirl Costume

The first incarnation of Batgirl appeared in Batman #139 in 1961. Betty Kane was Batgirl in this comic. She was the niece of Katherine Kane/Batwoman who had her first appearance earlier in 1956.
Another version of Batgirl appeared in 1967 where she was Barbara Gordon rather than Betty Kane and she wore a costume like Batman’s. She was the daughter of the police commissioner, James Gordon. This new version of Batgirl was more popular and appeared in the comics and TV series. She appeared regularly in the comics from 1966 to 1988. Eventually, she was shot through the spinal cord by the Joker. Barbara Gordon was resurrected in 1988 under the guise of Oracle. She is paralysed from the bullet but uses her knowledge of hacking and information to become an information broker for superheroes and law-enforcement agencies.
Yet another version of Batgirl as Helena Bertinelli in 1999. In the same year a fourth version Cassandra Cain appeared who was a child martial arts prodigy.
As far as costumes go, usually the costumes are labelled as Batgirl rather than Batwoman although there isn’t really any difference. Batwoman made several appearances in the comics in the late 1950s and early 1960s but then didn’t really appear again.
In the original comics Betty Kane/Batgirl wore a red and green costume to impress Robin. In later versions and in the 1997 film Batman and Robin her costume is the counterpart of Batman’s own costume. Usually the latter variety is available in costume shops and online sites.
In the series of Warner Bros movies starting in 1989, Batgirl first appears in Batman and Robin (1997) played by Alicia Silverstone. She wears a costums which is the counterpart of Batman’s.

Batgirl is my hero! I love the fact that she’s sexy, powerful, and can wear that mask, so nobody knows who she is! Also, don’t forget the super-powers. Every girl wants to have super powers…

Here are some fun facts about Batgirl!
Batgirl entered the Batman TV show in 1967 in order to try to freshen up, and save the series as it was in danger of being cancelled as its popularity had been declining at the end of its second series.
A 10 minute promo was created to introduce the Batgirl character into the Batman show in 1967 to make her appearance in the third series. ABC liked the idea, but unfortunately her appearance couldn’t save the Batman series and sadly the Batman TV show ended in 1968 with Batgirl appearing in 26 episodes.

As in Halloween each one of us want to look unique and attractive.So i would suggest the females to go with the costumes of Bat girl .The costume of bat girl is unique and attractive.Thanks for giving such a great information on the costumes of Bat girl.
